Flocked Christmas Trees: Storage Tips

decorating

People love flocked Christmas trees! They love the feeling that this is something that looks like it is straight out of the snow covered woods. However, for those who decide to go with flocked Christmas trees they often wonder if this tree means that they have to store this in a special way than when compared to other non-flocked Christmas trees out there. The one thing that almost everyone can agree on is that flocked Christmas trees are definitely easier to have than real trees!

Some flocked Christmas trees storage tips that you can use at the end of the season

1. Be gentle when you are taking this tree apart so that you do not knock off the flocking. While the flocking is put onto this tree with a process that is going to ensure it is sturdy, you still want to take precautions to not knock this off.

2. We suggest wrapping the branches and flocking with some packing paper or something soft when putting this into the box to ensure that it is safe while getting moved.

3. Try to put this back into the original box so that it can be stored safely. If you do not have the original box then be sure to get a plastic tote that is meant for artificial trees.

4. Make sure that this is put into an area that is not going to get wet or too hot. Water and heat affect the white of the flocking easily after being in store for the entire year before the next Christmas.

Remember, as long as you take your time when storing this tree, it will look great year after year when you are ready to put this into your home or your office.
